A decade behind the lens.

I didn’t just “get into” content creation.

I’ve spent the last 10 years building it from every angle.

 

From studying fashion communication, to working in-house on the brand side, to producing high-level commercial shoots, to growing my own platforms to over 100K followers… I’ve lived every side of what makes content actually work.

And that’s exactly why my approach is different.

The Foundation

My foundation started in fashion.

I studied Fashion Communication at Stephens College—where I learned how to see visuals through an editorial lens. Not just what looks good, but what feels elevated, intentional, and worth paying attention to.

During that time, I interned in Hawaii with San Lorenzo Bikinis, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, lifestyle-driven brand environment. It was my first real look at how strong visuals, branding, and culture come together to create something people want to be part of.

From there, I built my background in marketing and digital strategy through hands-on experience—learning how content, messaging, and consumer behavior all work together in real time.

 

Because strong content doesn’t just look good.
It communicates something.

Early Career: Brand + Agency Experience

In addition to running my own business, I worked both in-house and agency-side—where content wasn’t just aesthetic, it had to perform.

On the brand side, I worked with a wholesale jewelry company, traveling internationally to India to support production and creative initiatives. I also represented the brand at trade shows, gaining firsthand experience in how brands show up, sell, and connect in real-world environments.

On the agency side, I contributed to large-scale commercial productions, including photoshoots with budgets exceeding $30,000 for brands such as Maggiano's Little Italy, Skyzone, and Merle Norman Cosmetics.

That meant:

  • Operating within high-level, high-investment productions

  • Collaborating across teams, talent, and timelines

  • Understanding how content directly supports business growth

I wasn’t just creating content.
I was learning how brands operate at a higher level.

Production & Creative Direction

From there, I stepped deeper into production—working across photography, videography, and full-scale content creation.

This is where everything leveled up.

I learned how to:

  • Direct shoots with intention, not guesswork

  • Build visual concepts that feel elevated and cohesive

  • Execute content that aligns creatively and strategically

Past subjects have included celebrities, media personalities, and professional athletes such as Danica Patrick, Jeff Foxworthy, Lindsie Chrisley, Kail Lowry, Dillon Brooks, and Larry Fitzgerald.

My work has also been featured on Dr. Phil, HSN, The Daily Front Row, and New York Weekly.

Building My Own Platform

(Proof not theory)

Then came the turning point.

I built my own brand from scratch—@shebathestaffy—growing it to:

  • 100K+ on Instagram

  • 100K+ on Facebook

  • 50+ viral videos (100K–1M+ views)

Not through trends.
Through strategy.

That experience changed everything.

Because now, I don’t just think something will work.
I know what works—and why.
